Learning more about life and about myself, and I navigate motherhood. Seeing the little humans you created, grow and achieve milestones or their own personal goals, all at different times, and in their own ways.

I find it challenging finding balance. Balance between still having a part of you that's you, as well as being able to have that part of you that is a mum, and a wife, and in my case a busi5 owner as well. As a mum, your number one priority is your children, but at the same time, it should really be you, because if you aren't 100%, then you can't give your children and those around 100%>

I feel like I'm pretty useless at self care. I do sometimes write in my gratitude journal by AwesoMe Inc, which gives you prompts about what to write etc. But then I guess I have a whole year booked ahead for hair appointments, and that is an expensive treat to myself. I'm unfortunately not one of the fitspo mums, but I do like to head to the beach a lot in summer, it's my happy place.

My advice to a new mum would be to trust your gut, but if in doubt ask for help. Our maternal instincts are usually a lot stronger than we ever knew we were capable of. But at the same time don't ever feel like your question or concern is stupid. No question is a dumb question, so if you need to ask your midwife or someone in particular e.g. a doctor/GP, then ask away!

A Motherโ€™s Voiceโ€ is a space to acknowledge, celebrate and most importantly, validate each womanโ€™s experience in motherhood.

Though similar in many aspects, each womanโ€™s motherhood journey is unique and different๐ŸŒป
