All the milestones! It has been such a beautiful thing to be able to watch & be a part of Rylan hitting all his milestones from his birth to now. From the first steps through to those first few words. Watching this little human grow into a person of his own has been so rewarding to see. He has been my best achievement to date.
Letting go of making it out like I have my s$!? together all the time & realising routine does not happen everyday. Being a single Mum with a fitness competing background has made it VERY hard for me to let go of structure & routine. The days are based on my little man now, not just me.

I try to get to the gym at least 2-3 times a week. If there is a day where Rylan is at daycare & I’m not working, I put on my favourite playlist & make the day about getting my house clean & organised. I find housework without a toddler around, very therapeutic. I also get my hair washed, blow dried & either straightened or curled once a fortnight by a hairdresser.
NEVER take unwanted advice personally. Thank that person for their “opinion” & either move on & stick to your Mumma guns with what you feel (& know) is right for your little one or just say to that advice giver that for now, you appreciate their in our but you’ll be doing things the way you feel is right. Never doubt your ability of being a good Mum. It’s usually those who are critiquing you that are the ones who are self reflecting on their own Mum journey & quietly wishing they had a chance to do it all over again.
